Default Is it to late to cancel glasses?

I went for an eye exam on friday for the first time in years. I need glasses for lectures and driving. I bought a pair on the spot (they ordered them) and was told they should be in monday or tuesday. Cost was 220 for 1 pair.

Later I walked by lens crafters and saw I can get 2-3 nice pair for slightly more money. I was told by friends I should have at least 2 pair (after the doctor). Is it to late to cancel or am I stuck with the glasses I ordered?

I haven't paid for them yet, but I would need to go back and get my prescription from the doctor.

If they made the lenses I'd feel obligated to buy. Before they do custom work I think you are ok.

Tip: start the phone call with "I need to cancel my order" isntead of "have the lenses been ground yet?"
