PF: Raise 1. I never understand why so many people raise less than 4xbb with hands like JJ.

so raise 4x with JJ and up and just pot rasie pfr with other raising hands? i try to keep all the pfrs the same. isnt it too readable if u do it like that?

I think it's safe to vary pf raises. All yu have to do is vary and mix it up just a little for you to become unpredictable. You can even create profitable situations if you keep track of what they might assume you have based on your pf bet size.

[/ QUOTE ] No; make it 4xBB with all raising hands, add 1BB for each limper. Your bet on the flop was too small, 61.5% of the pot. It should be anywhere between 66.6% and 100%. Note that on the turn when the king came you bet 75% of the pot. You're making a classic mistake of betting larger when you're more likely to be behind. You could have exercised some pot control and seen a free card, however there is nothing wrong with being aggressive. |
