It's not that fancy, is it? Trying to take the pot away from a weak better on a scary board can't be too bad. But still you have point, it would suck a lot to be called down by AT.

As played you have to give him hell on the river if this is your chosen line IMO. You're not winning this on a showdown.


EDIT: Also, like everyone said, raising this flop is kinda nice.

I wouldn't. 1. guy seems like a station 2. your smoothcall on the flop doesn't help you selling a big hand.
