Default KK play preflop

Are there situations where it's correct to just call KK preflop, or should the goal be to get all in if possible?

i just jam it for 100 BBs but alot of times i guess flat calling 3 bet is ok. 4 bets is bad, cause might as well push and pray no AA.

recently calling has been better due to the huge amounts of nits at like 50 NL who dont 3 bet with anything except AA. hysterical watching these guys flat call everything except AA/KK its unreal.

edit: my 3 betting range is huge so i will get calls alot from alot weaker hands than AA. depends on the 3 bettor usually.

if its against a weak player ill usually shove it since its much more likely they will call w/ a weaker hand. against better players i call and try to get more value out of htem on later streets.
