Hero checks, UTG checks.

River: ($2.10) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks.

Final Pot: $2.10

Inital Thoughts where with that flop I've got to have the best hand, when I got repoped on the flop it worried me. The 4th Diamond pretty much shut me down and I was just hoping to get a checkdown. Thoughts on line?

I'd be raising that flop with AJ/A3/33... probably any top pair with a decent kicker, too. I would have re-raised the flop in the event he had something like KJ with the K of diamonds. Make him pay to catch the 4th diamond. You can't be scared that someone is flopping the nuts against you in a 5 handed game. Especially when all you've seen is a limp and a flop raise.

I would probably also value bet the river. There are all high diamonds on the board, so only 2 hands beat you.

RR flop probably. I wish you didn't post the turn cuz its hard to be objective. As played checking is fine I guess.

He's short stacked, just 3-bet AI on the flop. I think any strong A or 2 pair will call.

As played I think checking down is fine. A value bet on the river is tempting, but it makes you vulnerable to being pushed off of your hand.

*grunch*

I think you're spot on on the turn and river. I'm probably c/f to most any bet here. Maybe try to pick off a bluff on the end, depending on reads.

On the flop I think I raise again. 33, AJ, J3, Ax, or A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] are all real possibilities here. Given the number of diamonds accounted for between your hand and the flop I think there's only about a 1 in 20 chance you're beat on this street. There are a lot of scare cards for you (board pairs, another [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]), so I don't think I want to call and let someone out draw me. Lucky flop - take it down.

Keep pushing on the flop.
