Will Banks cash checks from PokerStars, etc after regulations kick in?
Am I safe in leaving cash on PokerStars and expecting to be able to get it out via paper check down the line (ie after the regulations are required to have kicked in)?
Or should I be cashing out right now? I don't trust an e wallet for the time being, because I have half of my roll stuck in Neteller and don't want to (and can't afford to) deal with that again. |

It's generally agreed that paper checks will be exempted from the regulations because of the burden that it would place on banks to have to monitor them for use in gambling activities.

I cashed two, one before Neteller shut down and one after.
EDIT: just so you guys know, Bank of America also put both on hold. took over a week to clear |

Nowhere on a check from PokerStars does it say *PokerStars.*
The checks are quite generic. |
