Thoughts on the PPA. Might be the next NRA.
I am a lurker on these boards. But after seeing all the back and forth on the PPA I thought I would post.
I am a gun guy and firm believer in the 2nd amendment. That being said I belong to the NRA and GOA. Both of these work to protect my rights. This where the PPA is headed, I hope. I am not 100% up on everything involved with them but I know for a fact the $20 fee can be 1 hand at a 3-6 table. Heck, my bar tab is never less then $20. This is cheap! Even if it is a swindle, get off the D**N fence. I want to play online poker for money. I enjoy it and hope some day to make a big tourny through online poker. But I can't do that if they make it illegal. When it come to politics, big numbers and vocal people make big gov move. NRA has proved it day in and day out. For $20. Give them a try, take a flyer. Can't be any worse them flipping quarters for $20s or going all in preflop with pockets 2s. Dan... |

Difference between the NRA and the PPA: The NRA has a constitutional amendment to base itself on, but the founders never saw fit to prohibit government interference in regulating international trafficking in cash to gamble on cards.
