Default Multiway pot, overthetop?

Everyone has ~430 stacks.

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $2/$4
5 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG folds, CO raises to $13, Button calls, Hero calls, BB folds.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($43, 3 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $31, Button calls, Hero raises to $133

I know I can lead flop, but CO was reasonably laggy and I was planning to CR his c-bet if it got HU. As it is, plan was to fold to Edit: any shove from PFR but call other guy's. If called by either or both, shove a blank turn. If called by either or both and a club hit, c/f turn. I would treat an 8 as a blank.

if wdead hates it you are probably on the right track.

I don't like this. If you are called by both I would c/f blank turn.

What this, a semibluff with two pair and backdoorflush-outs? This looks really awful.

Bad, call looks fine, are you bluffing here or what?

I dont like the idea of c/r if button folded either, unless you have history to know what to do if he pushing/3bets flop.

Its clearly not a bluff as better hands will rarely fold. It seems like its a find out where hes at bet. I might call and lead a blank turn. But its a tricky spot no matter what you do. Which is why its normally better to repop or fold pre.

I don't know how to define it, it's kind of a bluff in that I think I might fold AQ/AK from the PFR and I expect to take it down very often. But I also thought it possible for button to put me on a FD and get it in with a worse ace.

I generally overcall here.

this owuld be a sweet move with a 45s or 77 type hand

you're actually overrepresenting your hand, and unfortunately if co folds and button then pushes you're getting good odds which on a hand which is generally a fd although also set/twopair etc (so its a calL)

the reason 77/45 is sweet is bc you can then fold to a push, but if they call if you push most turns you make them laydown (ala its a good bluff) without an ace like 22 this is nice too of course and what you're repping
