Player count drops in the last two weeks
Please discuss the player count drops in the last two weeks since the arrests. All numbers taken from the daily pokerscount numbers posted in this thread.
Site..................1/15 ---- 1/29 ----- Change Poker Stars.......15,608 -- 11,722 -- -24.9% Full Tilt Poker......8,252 --- 5,857 --- -29.0% Bodog...............3,925 --- 2,376 --- -39.5% UB....................3,340 --- 2,921 --- -12.5% Party Poker........9,124 --- 11,213 --- +22.9% To me it says US players are leaving Tilt and Stars, atleast the ones who are now finding it very difficult to reload their accounts. Europeans are leaving to go back to Party, somewhat cause of their current reload. I dont like how the numbers are trending. |

Re: Player count drops in the last two weeks
I'm sure the sites like it even less than you do.
I'm assuming that when the sites get their payment processors figured out they are going to be offering reload bonuses. It will probably be three or four weeks after that reload period before we really know what the impact of this whole mess will be. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think Party making it so you can play 12 tables again is part of the reason their %'s have gone up (remember PokerSiteScout counts 1 player playing 10 tables as 10 players!). Even so, the Party Speed SNGs seems to have had a slow influx of regulars who seems to be jumping ship at Stars. This could possibly be due to being able to play 12 tables again, and possibly due to the Star's fish stocks running low - both making Party look more attractive again... One final thing that could explain the very recent Party player number increase (and possibly the higher regular:fish ratio in SNGs) is the Party bonus that's on offer atm. Re: Player count drops in the last two weeks
Except that last night, FT showed over 41,000 players. Since October this is the highest I have seen. Maybe they were mostly tourney or play money players?
