converting equities to odds

how do I convert equities to odds? Say I know my equity in the pot is 23% versus villian's 77%. How do I convert that to odds against winning? Is it simply "77/23 = 3.3/1 against"? ---thanks

yes, 3.3 to 1.. you have to be careful with how people talk, you have one chance in 4.3, but it's 3.3 to 1
