Default Raymer\'s 2005 WSOP Bust

I'm sure this was discussed some time ago and if someone could post a link for me, that would be great. I was watching a rerun yesterday of the hand that crippled Raymer when he got most of his money in against Canter. As a disclaimer, I realize that Canter is a donkey, but could someone provide some insight here please.

Greg opens KK, Canter coldcalls QJs.

Flop: 356r
Greg bets, Canter calls

Turn:7 (possible heart draw)
Greg bet/3bets AI over Canter's raise...

Sorry if this is in the archives. I just couldn't find it.

well his preflop call is a little weak but Greg was a bully so that allows for it to be an easy preflop call. Greg pushes hard also so I can see why Canter would reraise the turn. However, his flop call is awful, raise or fold when you have queen high.

You can read Raymer's thoughts on this particular hand 8 or 9 paragraphs down in this thread:

Actually, the all-in call might have been the only thing he did right in that hand.

What? As Legend42 points out, it's obviously not "abominable," and it's likely CORRECT.

PF call.. fine
flop call.. float, fine whatever. not a great play but not disastrous.
turn raise.. raymer has shown so much strength here that i think he should of realized he couldn't take this away.
turn call.. did he have pot odds? this is an easy question depending on the numbers.

He was on a monster card rush. He may have decided he was going to play every good draw until it was over.
