The new Internet explorer strains my eyes

The new Internet explorer strains my eyes. I remember reading somewhere that it has some fancy ability to sharpen the text it shows. The text is sharp, but for some reason it strains my eyes. I don't have that problem with the old Internet Explorer or Firefox. Is there any way to turn thae sharpening function of?

Yeah, I dislike it too. This blog post explains how to change it back to non-ClearType.
