Why are you so concerned about funding your account?
Now I can see why people are upset with the recent changes because they make it much harder for the tv watching poker fan to easily deposit money into an online poker account.
But why are all of these "winning" 2+2'ers worried about how they will fund their accounts? I can see if you're bonus whoring but after that why the fuss about funding your account? As a winning player aren't you managing your BR and beating the games you're playing? |

Agreed , at this point I'm more concerned about how the fish will deposit now though. Also somewhat concerned about how to get my $ off the site if needed.

Are you serious?
If nobody can put money on a site, how will I continue to take money off? Also, many are concerned that they will lose the ability to withdraw. |

Re: Why are you so concerned about funding your account?
Besides the ability for casual players, we are concerned because a lot of us, especially those who play in bigger games, hate keeping mid 5 figures on each viable poker site. For instance, when Ultimate Bet wasn't a wasteland, they would have an 80/160 game, that had just the right amount of gamble no matter who played. It was nearly always good. But I never played ultimate bet, so I'd quickly deposit 10k on UB and play. If I lose that session, I wouldn't sweat it, (better than keeping 50k on a site I hardly play on)and re-deposit the next time I saw it run. No biggie. Now?

Re: Why are you so concerned about funding your account?
Am I the only who thinks anyone who calls people "fish" is either arrogant, or bad at poker, perhaps both.
As for concern, mine is just how I get my money out. C-Dog |

Re: Why are you so concerned about funding your account?
It's not quite as derogatory a term as it seems, once you get used to using it. Most of us would admit to being the fish when we sit with known better players, and then try to move to tables where we are more the sharks.

[/ QUOTE ] Two groups who use this term: (1) The people you just mentioned (2) The people who think lots about game selection. Group #1 is more liberal about who they call a fish. They will say things like "Most twoplustwo'ers are fish", etc. |
