PS3 Questions

So I'm thinking about going out on the 26th or whatever and picking up the PS3 premium. (630$) I think it's clearly the better choice over the 20gb model.

I don't have much room in my room at school, I have a desk with two Samsung 204B's on them and room for little else. I also don't have any HD televisions or whatever. Can the PS3 hook up to the analog/DVI slots in the 204B ok? Or no?

I want to get Madden '07, any other PS3 games I should be interested in? I also want to play numerous PS2 games with it.
