Default Is Absolute Safe?

They're always running deposit bonuses. It just seems a little fishy to me. Any thoughts? Would you keep 5 figures there? 6 figures?

I've been playing at absolute practically since they opened and have never had any concerns about my poker funds. I'm not a huge roller or anything, but i've had $10k+(and much less)on there at times.

I consistently keep some funds there without any worries...actually, right now i'm more concerned with my balance at some of these ewallet companies.

FWIW...cheers

They have been running bonuses like this for a couple years at least. I thought the same thing actually when I first started playing there. I currently have a mid 5 figure amount of money on AP, and didn't feel the slightest bit risk than normal. Last nights and today's events have changed my risk tolerance just a tad, but nothing specific to Absolute. AP's player base is very rocky and recently underwent a gigantic bonus policy change, basically making it no better clearing bonuses there than any other site for the lower-mid limit grinder.

That's what I've always heard about absolute - how they have so many bonuses so I came over after Party shut us down. With recent events, I just start getting nervous. AP is giving all these bonuses plus rakeback so it just seems almost like a ponzi scheme. Thanks for your thoughts.

What you are currently getting is nowhere near what it used to be!

Haha, no kidding. The way the bonus/ARP system was redesigned, it is devastating to the lower limit players and actually beneficial to high limit, short handed play. I can't imagine the crawl at which those bonuses are being cleared right now, it's a shame.

i feel safe with my $ on Absolute. Chex is right u need to play higher limits due to the change in bonus. Also RB may also change starting in FEB> still unclear how exactly it is changing.

It sounds as if it is finally going to contributed(I guess they have said it was, but never changed). As far as deductions of bonus etc, supposedly the affiliates will be taking this hit, but the player's rake will stay the same(minus the contributed method part).
