Default AK lost my stack:

Villain is an unknown. Is this an easy laydown on the river?

After thinking about this hand I think I should have laid it down but I thought it unlikely that he held either AA or KK as there were already 2 of each out there.

You've under represented your hand sooo much that I can live with river call.

Saying "it's an unlikely hand because two were already out" isn't a good way to rule out any of his holdings though.

If he has AA/KK there's not a lot you can do about it. Against an unknown you have to call this river.

Fine. Not that keen on raising the flop? Why give an underpair/Ax an excuse to get away cheaply? I'm not folding this hand without a very good read.

It is.. because the number of combos of the hand he can have decreases its less likely he has AA or KK.

As played you need to call that river. AQ/AJ other two pair play it this way, too. You normally have to raise the flop though.

It is unlikely he has AA or KK, given that all but two of each are accounted for. I think calling down is a good line here, since you are most likely good and a weaker ace or something might well fold on that board if raised.

I said ruled out, not decreases likelyhood. Also, raising flop isn't a good idea because you lose value from weaker hands. If we're getting it all in anyway, we'd rather get more from AQ or AJ, unless we're seriously concerned that he three bet us with QcJc
