Most likely he has an overpair or a set. Probably AA. You've made it 100% obvious you've got something, why would he bluff the river unless he's a complete maniac? Also I check this preflop at lvl 1, and slow down on the turn for pot control.

I agree with this. Some crappy two pair is also possible. And he's even beat with KT and AT, which are not impossible. So yeah, I fold this, and I check preflop.

Preflop is questionable. You should be raising with good hands and terrible hands, not speculative hands like QT that you want to see a flop with.

Flop and turn bets are fine in terms of making it incorrect for him to draw to anything. In fact, I think checking the turn is quite bad and I personally bet it a bit stronger to protect the hand and maximize value, since you won't/shouldn't be betting most rivers.

As played I think the river is a fold without a read.

PF- I sometimes raise this, sometimes check. Suzzer-why do you think he has an overpair/set so often with this action?

I think a turn be is mandatory not only for protection, but also because I expect to be called down by much worse from a random donk.

Because morons love to play AA EXACTLY like this. They don't want to scare you off. Then they panic on the river because the pot's not big enough. River overbomb is a monster like 80% of the time in my experience. Ask yourself this. Does he expect you to fold? I sure wouldn't think so.
