some naive questions now that pinny is done
A few things I've been curious about. I really haven't thought this stuff through, so please don't jump down my throat if these questions are idiotic.
1. Is there an opportunity in this somewhere for a guy who lives in a foreign country or in las vegas to place bets for displaced pinnacle customers? 2. In on-line poker, some sites have benefitted by ignoring this legislation. Is there an opportunity here for a sportsbook to do likewise? 3. Whom, exactly, is prevented from betting with Pinnacle? I have a Ukranian sister in law. Now, she lives in this country. Does her Ukranian citizenship keep her eligible to bet at Pinnacle? Or, does she have to maintain a bank account in the Ukraine? Or does her IP address have to be from the Ukraine? Sorry, it's not clear to me. Thanks for any help. |

1. Is there an opportunity in this somewhere for a guy who lives in a foreign country or in las vegas to place bets for displaced pinnacle customers? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, a foreigner would be able to use Pinnacle. Residing in Las Vegas you'd be able to legally attend books in your area, but you would still not be able to use Pinnacle online. [ QUOTE ] 2. In on-line poker, some sites have benefitted by ignoring this legislation. Is there an opportunity here for a sportsbook to do likewise? [/ QUOTE ] Many are. Just hit up the FAQ or check out www.sportsbookreview.com. [ QUOTE ] 3. [/ QUOTE ] Her physical address would need to be Ukranian, as well as her other information. I am guessing the same goes for IP addy, although that is something that can be altered. |
