Default NL50 6max - straight on the river, paired board, re-raise

Is my line OK here or should I fold this river?

Villian seems to be a typical NL50 player. Not overly loose, not overly aggressive.

All kinds of stuff calls you here from an "average 50nler." I would flat call against a nit, but I'm going to valuetown here. Also why bet $6 on the river unless you are trying to induce a raise? I like pushing here.

$6 was a value bet. I figured any 3, A9, A7, A8, K9, 97, TT, JJ, 56 would call.

I would never fold for sure. As played I guess I'd call because Villain isn't overly loose or aggro. But I'd bet more on the river, maybe $10. I think worse hands will still call that.

Very easy call, I would have bet $10 on the river though.

Thanks guys. This was one of the hands that I was pretty sure I played OK but ended up losing (Villian had 99).

This is my third major downswing (8 buy-ins) without any substantial upswings in between since getting the training wheels off at NL 30k hands ago. It seems every one of my large losing hands was played at least OK.

I guess there will be times in the future where I'll be in the positive for 8 buy-ins in a week.
