There are at least 12 people who need their votes taken away.

Also,
Andre Dawson 309 56.7
Bert Blyleven 260 47.7
makes me cry. Hell, just the
Bert Blyleven 260 47.7
makes me sad.

Lower on the list(so less outrageous),
Dave Concepcion 74 13.6
Alan Trammell 73 13.4.
God, damn, I hate the BBWAA. I wish voting rights were hereditary, my grandfather was a BBWAA member.

Perhaps I'm insane, but was Gwynn really so great? Where would a prime Tony Gwynn rank right now among position players?

He doesn't have the sexy HR or SLG totals, but his batting stats are pretty sick -

- Except for his rookie year, he always hit over .300
- 8 batting titles
- 15 All-star
- 7 top ten in MVP voting
- 6 top five in OBA
- A bunch of ridick at-bats to strikeout ratios

If you think Ichiro is an elite player right now, Gwynn was doing it earlier.
