Default PLO200, Bet size after a good hit?

Hi.

Reads are simple. All 4 villains are as LAG preflop as they come, but all are fairly reasonable post flop. Its a 1/2 blind 5-handed game online and every flop costs 20+ to see. Stacks are all 200-300, since a big fish just left the table.

Dont have the hand history, but heres how it was:

Hero (button): 789Tr
UTG+1 pots, CO raises to 24. I call. Everybody else calls, naturally.

Flop is 678r and it comes checked to me. Pot is about 120.

How much to bet? Or do I just pot cause their all loose?

thanks!

Most of time I like to bet a pot here (I'll bluff with a pot sized bet also here) or if you're frequently betting something else as a bluff you should use that amount.

Sometimes I slow play and bet small (under 1/2 pot ) or check and quite often I end up thinking that I made a big mistake. Decent LAGs are usually careful, when strong made hand is possible and you'll get rarely chechk-raised wo. legitimate hand. So you'll often get a call and you'll be in serious trouble if higher straightening card comes.

You should bet your hit amounts the same as your bluffs/semi-bluffs.

This is a huge tell online; ppl betting bluffs, semibluffs, draws, and made hands in the same manner.

I agree witht the previous posters in that you shoudlnt do anything out of the ordinary that will give your hand away but I wouldnt disagree with a check here if you feel that you might induce action on the turn but I know ill get flamed for that. It looks like you may have trouble getting action here if these guys play well postflop.

The only problem is that if someone else was looking for a checkraise with the same straight as you you may miss out on a free roll.

I usually 1/2 pot now (because it is so easy to hit that button on FT) when there is an obvious nut hand or paired board. I tend to bet more with my bluffs/semi bluffs/made hands on more ragged boards. Here, a PSB is basically removing any perceived folding equity your oppoents might have, so I would go with about 1/2 pot which makes the next bet all in and let them hang themselves on a bluff or on a loose turn call because the pot is so bloated.

Results:
I bet 80, and it was folded to me.
Damn cautious LAGs, lol!

It depends on your table image, not just your reads on you opponents. Would you really bet into four LAG opponents here without a set or a straight ? If that is the case, bet. But if you would most of the time not try a bluff on such a board in a multihanded pot, then by all means check. Some turn cards can hurt you, but not that much. Auto-betting nuts here is only ok if it fits the rest of your game.
