Re: Anonymous Users in this Forum?
It seems you're right. My "Who's Online" setting was reset to anonymous. It appears a lot of others have been reset that way since anonymous users are dominating the #'s of viewers in other forums.
This is the first time I've EVER seen an anonymous user in the mod forum. Is the counter working differently than before? I don't equate "anonymous" with "not visible". |

I've seen anonymous before. [/ QUOTE ] Me too. It happens most often right after a thread is moved here. The users who haven't moved on from either reading or trying to read the thread are counted regardless of whether they're registered. Mostly you see it because the user hasn't tried to refresh the thread yet. When they do, they'll get 'access denied'. One thing I have noticed, however, is that users still seem to be counted as viewing private forums even when they're only getting denied. So if someone clicks a link to a mod forum thread, gets denied, and then just sits there for 15 minutes without doing anything else on 2+2, they're going to be listed as viewing this forum. But they're not actually seeing anything. |

I've seen anonymous before. [/ QUOTE ] ... in the Mod forum. Also, across 2+2, there always seems to be more anonymous users than registered users. |
