Hi all. Just want to know what to do when faced with this bet on the river. Villain has $111, Hero has $160. My image on table is probably pretty LAG this session
Hero has KsQs, raises to $4 from middle position. MP+2 calls, Villain on BB calls. 3 players to the flop, Pot: $12 4c, 4h, Qh Villain checks, Hero bets $8, MP+3 folds, Villain calls. 2 players to turn, Pot: $28 4c, 4h, Qh, [2d] Villain checks, Hero bets $20, Villain calls. 2 players to river, Pot: $78 4c, 4h, Qh, 2d, [Js] Villain checks, Hero bets $28, Villain raises to $78. Any comments on any street would be appreciated. I figured top pair was good with K kicker was good right up until the river, given his call in the BB of the pre-flop raise. When deciding whether to fold/call/raise river, I tried to narrow him down to a few hands, and realized that I would likely be going up against AQ, QJ, JJ, maybe 45s. What do you do on the river, and why? |

Easy fold. Everything else is standardish.

I think this is an easy river check. The J is a very bad card for you b/c he has QJ here like 30% before the river c/r and then like 90% after the river c/r

Easy fold. Everything else is standardish.
What do you think Villian has? If I had to pick one hand, I'd say QJ, maybe suited jason kapono was such a balla. I know, it was a total shame that Lavin never actually, you know, tried to run plays for him or anything. Gotta love the team this year though. With Love next year, watch out. |
