50NL 6max: Top two pair facing much resistance.
No reads in this hand. Please comment on all parts of the hand, especially the flop. I'm also wondering how good my raise pf from UTG is with this hand.
Thanks. Re: 50NL 6max: Top two pair facing much resistance.
preflop is loose, but fine. I play kinda loose but i dont raise Axs UTG all the time.
just get it all in on the flop, his range is 77/88/AA/87/A7/A8/9hTh/9h6h/5h6h Ax/65/XhXh/69/T9 if hes bad. |

PF is a bit loose but if you are playing very LAG and the table is folding a lot then whatever. As for the flop I would just put it all-in.

instead of raising to $25 on the flop, push
this is a drawy board you get called by a wide range |

instead of raising to $25 on the flop, push this is a drawy board you get called by a wide range [/ QUOTE ] I tent to make these smallish bets to suck my opponent in. I suppose my hand is too vulnerable for that kind of play and that I instead should charge Villain for seeing the turn. I've also identified an error in my thinking; When I 3bet the flop and made it $25 I thought: "I put another $20 into the $21.75 pot, which is almost a PSB". I just realized a PSB would be $5+$26.75 (call from me + new pot size) = $31.75, so a $30 would've been more reasonable. In this case I suppose I could just as well go all-in for the remaining $41.65 (effective stacks remaining). keikiwai, your reply really made me think through the different bet sizes thoughout the hand and what odds Hero and Villain laid at different points. This will probably help me a lot in the future. Thanks a lot! |
