Re: $600 PLO Folding top set
I think you most def have to fold. With such a draw heavy board on the flop and then to have MP bet into you after a turn card, even if he was trying to scare you away, this would be yourself calling a bet here on the turn and facing another bet on the river that would be a defensive call if you don't fill up. Since he was in MP, I would definitely put him on middle to high connectors. Summing it up, the greater majority of the time you're beat here (not to mention you hold one of the jacks in your hand that you could use to fill up). Also, if you call this turn and the river fills you up, you can expect MP to fold to all big bets, and probably some value bets as well.

Re: $600 PLO Folding top set
Mmh, I guess a fold is the best option, but raising does not seem horrible. If I have on the the two suits I raise instantly.

Re: $600 PLO Folding top set
Depending on my opponent sometimes i would call and push and club on the river as well as board pairs.

Re: $600 PLO Folding top set
I think the stacks are to shallow to try anything here so folding is best. If you call the pot will be ~500 and you will have ~350 left. I would prefer to do it with the Kc, especially in this spot.

Re: $600 PLO Folding top set
one of your outs is dead, his bet is credible and you have little implied odds. A fold is best, IMO.

Re: $600 PLO Folding top set
A lot of people call this and try to spike a full house. People routinely call this even tho there a 3 to 1 dog. Matter of fact someone just called bottom set against my nut flush on the turn. Spiked a full house and I lost.

Re: $600 PLO Folding top set
I defenitly call with the intention of bluffing a river heart and a river club.

Re: $600 PLO Folding top set
In my experience 90% of players never fold a straight when a backdoor flush hits. That's why hitting bd flushes is so sweet.
