does anyone know these guys?

On a serious note, the other 4 people aren't making videos, they're all our students and are just blogging there to give other players more perspectives on what it's like rising through the levels of SNGs today (assuming they ever become not-lazy and start blogging [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img])

anyways, i just moved up and i'm a roller coaster on 114's, pretty much even after 400.

since you were beating these stakes at party, what do you attribute your bad run at stars to?

1) The structure is pretty different. By this I mean you have 50BBs for a long time and the antes make for more pushing/calling.

2) I think the games are significantly harder because most of the good players moved over but not many of the fish.

I think I've been doing much better lately (I'm +12k over my last 1200 and +8k over my last 500). My $225 ROI is only 2.5% though lifetime on Stars, and I think 8% will be a good ROI at this point for that level.

Also FJ pointed out to me that seat selection may be another reason for decreased ROIs on Stars. On Party I would never ever sit next to FJ or Gramps, but on Stars you don't really have a choice, and when you're sitting next to another regular (on either side) it's just -EV for both of you compared with sitting on the opposite side of the table.

I think it would be very difficult for anyone to attain an 8% ROI on the 225s over a long period of time. Good luck, though, if anyone can do it you can z. (PS I'd be interested in hearing what your ROI is after like 2K or 3K of them... msg me)
