I know nothing of Nation or PLO, but I am suspicious of anyone that asks to be a mod. I am sure ther are some good mods that became mods by asking.

i think that nation came up as a possible mod for some other forum at some point recently, and another mod said that they would be very anti the idea. it might have been dids.

while i like nation a lot and talk to him on a near daily basis, i don't think he'd be a great choice of mods. he's antagonistic towards other posters frequently, and loves to stir the pot in trainwreck type threads.

i also don't think he plays plo?

for the record, i asked to be a mod...

I wouldn't say he is retarded, but I don't think he would be as impartial as a mod needs to be.

In the beginning, virtually all the mods came to me. Nation may not be a good candidate, but I appreciate it when people approach me to volunteer. I just don't want it becoming an idea that people interested in moderating should hold their tongue for fear that would exclude them.
