.5/1NL at Poker.com. 5-handed game, villain is new to table. Effective stacks of 100.
UTG minraises to 2. Hero smooth calls from CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Button folds, SB folds. BB calls. Flop-3way (6.5): 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] BB bets out 4. UTG folds. Hero raises to 12. BB calls. Turn-HU (30.5): 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] BB bets 30.5. Hero?? Comments/advice on all streest appreciated! |

3-bet preflop.

reraise preflop and raise the flop more I'd make it 18 or so
turn is an easy fold |

this is an interesting hand
1st reraise preflop is a must as well as raising more on the flop. i think there are plenty of hands villain leads like this on the turn. AQ with the Qs as well as KQ with a spade. and because of the cold call preflop these hands are in his range. not saying that because of this it makes it a call but just something to consider. since hes unknown id probably fold this spot because i doubt we are ahead. make a note of the hand though and how he played it on flop and turn and your hand as well |
