Random places you've met women...

Inspired by a friend who met his current girl while stuck in a traffic jam and waved to her.

I've mostly met girls through friends and at work, but I'll throw a few weird ones in the mix since I started the thread:

- while on a flight home
- on the metro
- at a strip club (not a stripper)
- boss's daughter (don't ever do this)

i picked up my first girlfriend in college because i wanted a ride to mcdonald's after a soccer game. we had just gotten our asses kicked too. but i guess 'athletic event' probably isn't that random.

i diddled some girls i met at church, that seems kinda wrong

Most were either girls I've met at work, through friends, or at a bar, but I have 2 random places.

One was on the metro when the girl was reading "The Tipping Point" right after I finished reading it. She was cute, so I started talking to her about the book, and we ended up going on a few dates.

The other was at Chipotle when a girl behind me ordered the same burrito combo I did, which spurred a good conversation and 2 dates there (note - I am still seeing this girl).

The random places are good b/c they are unexpected when you go there in the first place, but they are few and far between the conventional methods of meeting girls.

I met my current girlfriend at the grocery store. I think it's standard, but I mention it because historically what I consider standard usually isn't.
