I like flop bet.

Yuck turn. Might be a fold because your flush outs are unlikely to be very good.

flop bet is fine, his turn donk could be anything really. if my image is good i might raise here repping the flush. letting it go is fine as well. calling is not an option imo.

I usually call in this situation and fold river UI. I guess I don't mind a fold in this spot though especially if villain is solid. I wouldn't be so sure that our flush outs are tainted though and a J should definitely be good enough to win the pot.

What the advantages of the flop bet? The more I think about it, the better checking sounds. There's only 2 overcards, I dont' think I'm folding out Ace of spade or a K.

I think I get myself in trouble in these situations a call seems obvious because we could still be ahead of alot of hands but what good does it really do us? think this is def a R/F situation.

Why dont you like a call here? Call is my standard play here. You have flush outs, your hand may be good as it is and it keeps the pot small. If you raise and he has a small flush he will rr and force you to fold even if you still have outs.. A raise MAY get him to fold Kx and some villans will call with that.

what would be your plan if you raise and he calls and the river is a brick?

i dont like betting flop here. It puts us in a horrible spot on the turn with 3rd best draw and 2nd pair if we get called. Basically flop is a bluff/cbet if we bet it, and gets value out of the Ace of spades(occasionally the Q too), and sometimes mid pocket pairs with a spade.

Given stack sizes, ur playing for stacks (his) real fast with a marginal hand if u get called on the flop.

Id rather check behind and induce on the turn. You arent going to get double barreled off ur JJ on turn and river if you check, as villans that arent out of line usually wont bluff twice into an UTG raiser on a K high flop with the worst hand... Reeks of KQ or K10 here.
