Default TV Series on DVD., Recommendations, please.

Hi OOT. I never watched TV for the past 8 years or so other than reality TV and sports before moving over seas.

I have recently puchased all South Park Episodes, 24 season's 1-4, and the first two season's of the simpson's. I am quite happy with all of these.

I am now working on season 4 of "24". Watching these show's on DVD is a blast, and a great way to pass time on days when I don't have much to do/its too hot out during the day. Coupla comments about the show.. Its unfortunate that they have annoying sub plots to acquire a broader audience. I must say I am happy I don't have to see Kim Bauer during season 4. (Flame away, ya, she has big boobs, pretty, etc.. But her character sucked, and I think she blew as an actress.)

The Southpark DVDs have totally ruled, and I have not yet gotten into the Simpson's yet.

Any other recommendations? (I am not interested in Seinfeld, as I have already seen most of the episodes and the humor has gotten old to me.)

Here are the show's I am currently considering getting:
1.) Soprano's. I assume every one will recommend it. (Is this in the same format as "24" where its just one long show, or is each episode pretty much its own plot?)

2.) Six Feet Under. I know nothing about this show, except that it got good reviews on Amazon. Does OOT approve?

3.) Deadwood. I know nothing but they swear a lot.

4.) 24 season 5. I am getting tired of this show, and the whole

High Ranking CTU Official : I can't give you clearance for that, Bauer.

Bauer : Just give me clearance and trust me, fire me at the end of the day.

5.) Can a reasonably masculine dude watch "Sex and the City" and not turn gay/ be accused of having no testicles?

6.) What about CSI?

OK, any othe recommendations you can give me, and PLEASE no friggen spoilers.

One other thing about my taste: I have never watched star trek , and that won't change.

TY OOT,

SDog

I'd say season 1 only, I think this show really dropped off in 2 and 3.
