PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $4 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) BB ($28.50) UTG ($553.70) Hero ($579.70) MP1 ($403.75) MP2 ($373.25) MP3 ($443.60) CO ($400) Button ($572.20) SB ($196.80) Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Hero calls $4, MP1 calls $4, MP2 calls $4, 1 fold, CO raises to $12, 3 folds, Hero calls $8, MP1 calls $8, MP2 calls $8. Final Pot: $94 Now I'm sure this isn't very advanced but I felt smart when I thought about it. I'm starting to find myself in spots like this where I am wondering how to maximize my value however I'm realizing that frequently in spots like this by betting out you will just be taking down the pot because worse hands will rarely call because your hand is not well disguised. Anyways I'm sure this isn't that advanced but the point I'm trying to make here is even though betting out frequently gets little to no value it still is the best play because by checking your only getting value if hands improve and are then beating you. Anyways I'm kind of ranting and I'm not sure how much sense I'm making but I'll see what others think. |

Re: Random strategy thought that I\'m sure isn\'t very advanced
I really don't like the flop call in the first hand... only 6 clean outs...
