Party Pop Up in chat box

Every once in a while I notice a pop up in the chat box at Party mentioning a brand new players points club where you must join 1st in order to gain points. To join you must go to my account and sign up.

I was assuming this was the Party Points promo they have always had but it says it is NEW and I can not find anything under the my acccount page.

Anyone know what this is exactly? I was wondering if it had anything to do with the new Party store that is coming, perhaps you will need different points for those?

Its the same thing as the points you have been getting all along. New players actually have to go register for the points club, they dont automatically get it. Seems pretty stupid to me, but I guess party can save a few points that way if people dont sign up right away.

I think they make you sign up so that you are aware of the VIP club. If you're auto enrolled, people might not even know it and that would negate the point of having a VIP program.
