Default Proxy sites to view 2+2 from Work??

F'in firewall people at work just now, after 2 years, blocked out the 2+2 site from getting used. I have tried a few different web-based proxy's which i got from other people. The problem is that with more traffic to these proxy sites, they get caught faster.

I need a web-based proxy that doesnt have the word 'proxy' in the URL. This is one that i will give to NOONE so that it wont get detected as easily.

The ones I have used so far are:

www.iraqigeek.com/proxy
www.proxypop.com

Thanks in advance.

Megaproxy.com

It's 9.95 for three months. You sign in via some goofball address and everything is run through javascript (which means, be warned, that not everything is available at every site). Between fantasy sports, 2+2, and the ability to check my web-based e-mail, it is definately worth the money. In fact, I split the cost with a co-worker so it's even cheaper.

After a couple of months fighting the IT department, I just gave up and started shelling out. It's been working for close to a year.

You're welcome

I've heard people here talk about getting around this simply by typing in forumserver.twoplustwo.com rather than www.twoplustwo.com. Apparently blocking the latter and not the former is somewhat common for network admins. If nothing else, it's free to try

Yep that's how it works at my office. It's weird - when I click on links of old threads that people post they get blocked usually, but mostly it works ok.

This is a great business opportunity. Someone needs to start a proxy service with a number of business sounding names like officesoft.com, cppresources.net, or businessclpart.com, and sell proxy services through a central server. It's so cheap to register 100 or so domain names. When one gets blocked they just use a different URL that redirects to the same server.
