[$6] Two pair hits troublesome river
Villain is a typical Friday night $6 donk -- limps into most pots, pf minraises, calls too much, etc. Bad and certainly unpredictable.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG (t2495) MP (t2555) CO (t2655) Button (t1640) SB (t1980) Hero (t2175) Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP calls t150, 1 fold, Button calls t150, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (t600) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, Hero bets t350, MP folds, Button folds, SB calls t350. Turn: (t1300) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) SB checks, Hero bets t600, SB calls t600. River: (t2500) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets t450, Hero ??? So my choices are: A. Fold, because he certainly played this like he was drawing to the flush (leaves me with t1075) B. Flat call, because he may indeed have the flush but I'm not laying down two pair in this spot (leaves me with t625 if I lose) C. Push, because even if we're behind here, being left with t625 makes for a very unlikely uphill climb and I'd like to at least get more money in the pot on the off chance I'm ahead. A very good 2+2er friend was sweating me on this and he didn't like my choice. He's, well, pretty much always right, but I wanted to get some other thoughts. Thanks, Matt |

Re: [$6] Two pair hits troublesome river
i dont like betting this flop at all. as played you need to bet more on the turn.
