Default How would free trades affect your approach..

to the stock market? If everyone could trade for free, would you(or the majority of people) change the way they trade? What would you do different?

I think TP4 is asking about Zecco.com, so yes, spreads still exist. Because trading still has a cost, it shouldn't really change your decisions. It just helps you save money.

Probably any place that is offering free trades is giving poor executions.

You can trade for free at Bank of America if you have 25k in their bank system.

Think of it as rakeback or no rakeback... if you are a good stock trader, then the cost of the trade doesnt mean much

If the broker is jipping you on the spread and you are trading any significant volume, the cost of the free trade is costing you alot more than the commission at a brokerage with quality executions.
