Which division is the toughest in the NFL?
I really liked the replies we got from the NFL pick em thread so I figured that we should do one of these and see what others thought. Should be some good replies in here too.

Well considering the NFC East was the only one without a consensus pick in the other thread, I suppose you'd have to go with that one...
Also the NFC East has 4 teams that are legitimate playoff contenders. No other division can say that...

I think its pretty close between the AFC West and the NFC East and I may be being a little biased but if Oakland steps up some this year I think the AFC West has 4 good contenders as well.

[/ QUOTE ] NFC South is the only division that compares, and I think it's tough to say which is better because I think both Carolina and TB can beat anyone in that division, and Atlanta is also pretty decent.

I'd say AFC west due to the tougher competition in the Wildcard races
its much tougher to make the playoffs in the AFC, and the top3teams in the AFC West are better than the top3 in the NFCwest

NFC East and it's not close. By far the best division from top to bottom.
Amazing how in 2004 it was one of the easiest divisions in football outside of the Eagles. What a difference two years makes.
