5/10 2-7 Hand. Questions on all streets.
I'm in the SB with 77482.
CU is a good TAG and raises it. Do I want to 3 bet this oop? I 3 bet it. Do I want to draw 2 to the smooth 7 or draw 1 to the 8? I draw 1 to the 8 and make a T. Villain draws 1. Do I bet here or C/C? If i bet do I stand pat? If I C/C do I pat? I don't know what to do in these oop situations. |

I'd 3-bet here, draw one and take it from there. Against an unknown playing 5/10 I'd go into aggro mode here.

Call and draw two or reraise and draw one. I would pretty much never pat T8 OOP vs a 1-card draw on the second round. |

I agree, keep the 8 if its HU and drop it if its 3 way.
So if we aren't keeping a pat T, should we just check/call and dump the T? |

There is no call and draw 2, it's too weak and opp's will pick it up. Just 3-bet(always) and lead.

Re: 5/10 2-7 Hand. Questions on all streets.
predraw: Yeah, I think you have to raise this all day long. you've got an 8 almost made already, so you have pure value in the raise and you'd sure like to be headsup as long as you're going to be out of position. If you just call you won't be able to pry whomever is in the bb out of the hand with a crowbar.
I'd draw to the 8. villain draws 1, but he could be drawing rougher than us or be paired up and looking to check through, so I bet out. I'm not sure what the best line is for the second draw, but I'm assuming that we'll generally want to check if we miss and bet out if we catch. |

Re: 5/10 2-7 Hand. Questions on all streets.
i think those are close decisions.
i probably reraise and draw 1 before 1st draw. I definitely do not keep a T with two draws to go vs. someone drawing 1. if i misclicked and stood pat by accident i'd keep firing and fold if raised. and I usually check-call there. he never folds, likely has a smoother draw, and check-raises you the 20-25% of the time he hits, betting out represents that you have 4 to a wheel but i don't see how that gains you anything since people who draw 1 now will always make it past last draw -g |

likely has a smoother draw [/ QUOTE ] Very much disagree. He didn't cap. In the 5/10 game they cap a lot especially with a premium one card draw. Easy bet out and obv call a raise but draw one in either case. Gets a bit trickier on the next street but for now its pure valuetown. -DeathDonkey |
