Default green tea - works great or all hype

I'm curious as to people's thoughts and experiences. There's certainly plenty of literature around that makes it sound like the best thing ever, but has anyone here actually have experiences that would back this up?

I don't think green tea is the kind of thing that you have experiences with. It tastes great and provides a small amount of caffeine and a large dose of some antioxidants, especially EGCG. I never drank some and grew back a limb or anything.

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

But basically there are no miracle foods and everything is hype.

i don't think it's going to work any miracles. but it tastes great and i always feel a little bit better physically after drinking it (white tea, too).

and im pretty sure it has about half the caffeine of black tea, and 1/6 the caffeine of coffee.
