For the 100% up to $200 ones, has anyone actually autoplayed thru them? It seems less risk free to autoplay thru rather than doing the big bet... I know for the 400% ones a big bet would make more sense, but I am strictly asking about the 100% ones..

Actually, for a 45x playthru you HAVE to gamble it up, or else it's a -EV play (a LOSING play!) Autoplay on 45x bonus at a -2.70% game (single 0 wheel) means an expected loss of 121.5x the bonus, for an EXPECTED LOSS of $21.50.
If you "gamble it up", the play becomes profitable because of the times you go busto, and don't have to fulfill the full wagering requirement (thus lowering the average WR per play). |

French roulette has a -1.37% house edge because of the La Partage rule that gives you back half of your stake if it hits zero.

French Roulette has a 1.35% house edge on 1:1 bets, as half the bet is returned when the single 0 is hit. You are expected to retain ~40% of the bonus on a 45xB playthrough.
Variance may be high, depending on bonus. For example, there is a roughly a 65% chance of making a gain while playing through a $50 bonus and a 80% chance of making a gain while playing through a $200 bonus. The difference occurs because $1 bets are a larger portion of a $50 bonus than a $200 bonus. Other numbers can be checked using the calculator at http://www.beatingbonuses.com/frcalc.htm The change in EV with a full bankroll bet (on a coin flip type game) prior to playthrough can be estimated by averaging in 100% to the playthrough bonus retention %. For example an average 40% bonus retention increase to 40+100/2 = 70% bonus retention with one full bankroll bet. It becomes 70+100/2 = 85% bonus retention with 2 full bankroll bets. For a more precise estimate, you'd need to include the specific game odds. |

I did Trident Lounge.
9000 spins of French Roulette with $1 bet on red. I didn't feel like doing a big bet on the $200 deposit. Got lucky as the majority of the balls hit red (I think ~1% more) so my balance ended up at $364 ($200 deposit + $200 bonus). Made $164 and doubled the +EV for ~3 hours of work, not bad.... Last night I did Lucky Nugget and of course, I lost two straight hands in ACBJ betting half my bankroll. Today I did All Jackpots and FINALLY won. Lost first hand, Got BJ on second hand, dealer hit BJ on third hand, and I won a double up on the fourth hand. Got $630 and currently grinding out 13k French Roulette spins.... Finally, FINALLY, I win something big here..1/12 @ MGVs! |
