Weird Starcraft replay glitch

I've always sucked at Terran so, I tried an experiment at Lost Temple against Zerg. I used a simple strategy of putting tanks on the cliffs over the expansions to starve the computer. The computer never attacks me, so I win easily.

So I save the replay and decide to immediately replay it to see what exactly happened. The replay file shows that the computer sent a huge attack force at my base and wiped me out in 20 minutes. The replay then went on to the 27 minute mark, where it just ended.

Cliff notes: I win a game a game against the computer. The replay file shows I lost badly.

this happens to my replays too. what happens is that at a certain point the replay acts as if you had abruptly gone AFK and the computer keeps playing like a computer.
