Ever been told you have an attitude problem?
I have been cursed w/ this my whole life. I have a horrible attitude problem. Perhaps I do. But sometimes I feel like everyone around me is either an idiot or an A-hole. Could this all be me? Perhaps. I am just astounded at the sheer stupidity of people sometimes. But then again, I do stupid [censored] all the time. Perhaps I am unforgiving of people's idiocy because I see it in myself? I do not know. But I am not like this everywhere. I have one job I've had for 6+ years now. And I feel like they'd rape my mother if it meant they could make more $. And I have another job at Sears where I'm super chipper and polite and nice (which I like to say is how I usually am towards people...albeit I have my moments where I can be a bit abrasive). But in general I consider myself to be a pretty nice, polite person.
I was just wondering if anyone else in OOT has been told they have a poor attitude at work, or elsewhere.

I was just told last week that I was a 'selfish, immature, self-aggrandizing child'. I should make an etching of that and frame it and display it in my home, because that's actually a pretty accurate description of me.

The solution to the frustration that comes with the conclusion that the person you are talking to is an idiot is to assume that all people are idiots until they prove otherwise. Once you assume they are an idiot, the shocking truth that they are an idiot is no longer shocking... and there goes the frustration. but yeah I've been called an A-hole and a dick quite often. That's probably due to my approach.

I've been told I'm very condescending when talking w/ people. Mostly my Mom. But that's because my Mom is such an idiot sometimes that it's hard not to be that way. I guess most of the time I dont even realize how I'm coming off. People always say I'm angry or yelling, when I didnt think that I was. I'm just a passionate person. :P Or a bitch. Either or.

Learning to suffer fools is part of life. Remember, just because (you think) you're better than someone else doesn't mean you need to show it.
