Default anyone slow down here?

No reads. Villian is 32/21/2.5

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG posts a blind of $3.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG (poster) calls.

Flop: (4.33 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.16 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, UTG calls.

River: (12.16 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG caps</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 20.16 BB

Edit : Converter seems to have villian as UTG, when he was actually BB.

Yes. Turn action to me indicates a better two pair, or perhaps a slowplayed set. CR on river scary: you capped the turn. I'd have probably just called.

capping the turn sucks. he sees the ace, you see the ace. he doesn't care.

He's pretty aggro, I play it the same. If he shows A8 well then, that's life. NH.

Don't cap turn, river play is fine. If he has A8/A6 then NH. My guess is that you sucked out on a set - which is why your turn play is a big -EV.

I just call the turn checkraise in this situation, thinking he probably has a better 2 pair or a set. As PokerBob said, he knows the A probably helped you and he doesn't care. If he has a set, we just sucked out on the river, but if he has a better 2 pair, we're still behind. This is where the Bayesian analysis helps:

33 - 1 way
66 - 3 ways
88 - 3 ways
A8 - 3 ways
A3 - 1 way
A6 - 3 ways

We win 7/14, tie 1/14, lose 6/14. That makes it thinly for value to pump the river.

I dunno I feel like it's going to be 68/83/63 a LOT here. He could easily think you are just raising with an ace. The reason I really want to discount A8,A6,66,88 is because he posted UTG, is pretty aggro, and just checked pre-flop.

Fair enough. On the river we know it isn't the small two pair though.
