Default Trapping gone awry. Bad river play?

20/40 online. Currently seven handed. The game is very loose and aggressive.

UTG is very laggy. He's taken down a couple of huge posts by three betting from UTG +1 with pocket sixes and QJs. Will stab at any orphan pot.

Button is very trappy and plays a lot of hands backwards. Seems to read hands well. Play can be quite unpredictable and capable of big moves.

Both should see me as tight.

Hero dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the BB.

UTG and button limp with SB and BB coming along.

Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB checks,
Hero checks
UTG and button check.

Nice reads!

Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB checks
Hero checks
UTG bets
button raises
SB folds
Hero 3 bets.
UTG and button call

Pot size: 11BB

River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero bets
UTG calls
River raises

Do you like a crying call here or is it an auto muck due to the third player? Do you like leading this river? Was I a dolt to check both the flop and the turn (given the reads).

All thoughts appreciated.

i'd just bet the flop and keep slamming bets in until I think I'm beat.

as played then you probably got trapped by button. he looks like he sucks, there's really no hand he could have played well there. your hand looks exactly like a 4, and that turn check/3bet should be terrifying. I'm convinced you have UTG beat though so I probably pay off.
