Your opponent's line is strange but you still only beat air and Ace-rag. It's not entirely unlikely that he has Jx, just binged the river, and thinks this is the way to get paid. With an unattractive pot and not an incredible amount invested, I find the fold button here.

I figured my hand was pretty defined as Ax. On the river I thought he could have Jx or a busted flush/straight draw. On the river it felt like it would be a kind of cool bluff for him to try to get my of my Ax. but maybe noone would try to run a bluff like that and I just threw $255 away... How often in percentages do you think he has a set or full house here?

Also, in general, how often do you think that overbets on the river are monsters, and how often are they bluffs?

For me this is just about what he thinks I have on the turn. I think he puts you on an ace, and I think he wants a call. Smells like 222.

This looks pretty bad to me. I don't think most villans are on the he knows that i know what he has level at these stakes.
