All Jack Adamo bragging aside
Ok, Jack Adamo is very proud, and his article might have rubbed some of you the wrong way, but I thought that his understanding of the "Fog of War" was very accurate. Are there any of you who have also experienced this? Were you aware of the "Fog" when you first started playing? How long did it take you to get free of it and get in the zone?

article still sucked, i guess the class that kept him from that 4.0 in college was creative writing.

Re: All Jack Adamo bragging aside
My problem is the fog of bad play. I'm not good enough to get screwed up by the fog of war yet.

Tourment Chess Player holds his own with Masters and Experts? Highest rated Adamo I can find in all of the USA is a John rated 1762 of NJ. Let's assume that's him....cause I'm a SMART GUY!? OK.... maybe I'm not a SMART GUY but I can still figure this out... (I'll spare you'all the chess geek formulas) If a 1762 plays a Master (2200, min) 7 games and if he scores one draw out of 7 games... Goes .5 to 6.5 The 1762 is still rated 1762, nothing gained or lost... So if .5 out of 7 games is a HOLDING YOUR OWN... Lord help me... (I normally would not bust someone so hard over this... but if you jump loud, people are going to complain about the noise...) |
