Default broken keyboard, dell inspiron laptop

i tried to clean under the keys, and 2 of them came out and then, the plastic mechanism under then broke, so i cannot put them back.

ideas?

sure you can. get your manual off the manufacturer's site and look at what screws to remove to get it off.

then all that connects it to the motherboard is a little ribbon cable that you should get attached to the new keyboard.

even a used one for your model would work.

A buddy just ordered a new keyboard for his Dell 600m and I think it cost him $45 shipped from Dell. Not bad at all. Ebay is a great place to start though.

The keyboard should be very easy to remove and replace.
