Red Rock poker
played at Red Rock the other day and liked the room...but the 1/2 NL game absurdly tight and tough...did I just catch a bad table (they had three going) or is this the norm here?

Re: Red Rock poker
When I was out there in July I played at Red Rock a few times. Each time the action was pretty good. It seemed to be a mix of really tight locals and really loose vacationers. I sat at a few bad tables but usually when I got a table change the new table was much better.

Re: Red Rock poker
I was out there and went in 2 times. I played at several tables after a bunch of table changes and all games sucked. It was on Friday and Saturday too

Re: Red Rock poker
I stayed there a few months ago, was bored waiting for my friend to wake up so we can play at meaningful stakes to us, so I played a little 4/8 and 1/2nl. I wanted to murder the dealers, they had no concept how to run the game. My opponents were weak, and very passive which was a nice vacation from the tougher games I am used to, but the pace was like a snail. Nice if I am on vacation or hanging with a girl, but not an enjoyable experience to play.
