I play it pretty much the exact same way you do, and expect to see AK, or a slowplayed set that was made on the flop. Maybe kings if he's one of those players that can't lay down in face of an Ace.

At this point, hero should crap his pants most of the time. Hope he has AK and not AA/QQ. I check behind and call a turn and river bet. If he checks on the turn, I shrug, bet-call, and call a river bet and lose an extra BB.

The cheack raise on the turn was a little much for me, I was close to folding then cause the only hands he SHOULD have been playing this way are AK and KK (Right?), both of which have me drawing slim. If I had some reads, this fold would be easier, but this was my 7th or 8th hand with the guy, no stats. So here, I figured I could call down to the river getting good enough pot odds.

nah. your hand is disgustingly strong here and there is a fairly decent chance he is going to "trap" you with AK. there are 2 hand combos that beat you.

if you want to argue a turn check through, that's one thing, but checking behind on this flop to just call down isnt getting enough bets in. if we had AJ i would take your line.

Haha I want to fold so bad to that turn raise. Pretty tough to actually do it though.

3-betting seems like suicide to me
