Default Proper Re-buy strategy question

So I was reading some post about rebuy tournaments, and it seems like most people advocate re-buying at least 3 times and many upwards to 6 times a tournament. I know 2+2ers advocate making an immediate rebuy at the start of the tournament, but for myself I usually just make the initial rebuy and then ad-on after the break. I usually just try to double up on some donk LAG in the beginning (I play low stakes rebuy tournaments), and I usually finish out the break with above avg chips, but I'm usually never near the CL. I was just wondering is it bad to use only 2-3 rebuys (maybe 2 rebuys, and an ad-on) or should I just be playing really LAG in the beginning trying to accumulate a lot of chips and spend like 5+ rebuys trying to big a gigantic stack. Just curious to your thoughts. Thanks.

Gamble, don't spew. Spending 10 buy ins should be completely within your comfort zone. That doesn't mean that many rebuys should be standard though. And it is the initial rebuy people advocate, we do not reccomend donating your stack first hand and then rebuying.

This is the wrong forum btw.
